The Commonwealth Curriculum Framework for Enabling the SDGs has been developed to support member states address all 17 SDGs through education. This initiative reinforces the connection between the SDGs through a holistic, life course approach (Early childhood care and education, primary education, secondary education, Technical, Vocational Education and Training and skills development, tertiary and adult education and learning), taking into account the targets and their respective indicators as adopted by the Social and Economic Council of the United Nations and in the respect of the Commonwealth Charter. The Framework aims to guide countries in defining their contextual needs and basic requirements related to knowledge, skills and competencies as they review or develop their national curricula.
